?

not sure what exactly your asking here...

I mean.. are you saying that the buds you harvested don't smell/taste correctly?? If that's the case, then your making a minor mistake somewhere along the line of drying and curing..

it doesnt smell or taste like high quaility shit, it has the high and look of grade A but not smell. I did a quick dry and a early harvest on one plant so that was an issue. My plant for this 2nd one I did just last night was. choped it trimed it up nice with all fan leaves and as many of the close sugar leaves as I could. Put all the trimed nugs in a box in a nice cool room with the lid off and lights off. I figure ill let it dry for a week and then start the curing process. How does this sound? I want to have the right method down becuase I will have a big harvest in the next couple weeks.

mmm... man honestly?? I would take a peek at my 'Drying & Curing' article that I wrote up. May give you a better understanding of how to properly dry and cure your buds.

I wasted 2 complete harvests... before I got the whole process figured out. Take a look!

peace.

Sigh....so many harvesting /curing techniques.

you dont want to dry them fast....or in any type of weird smelling container.

Dry them in a dark place thats around 60-80f. Maybe put a fan in the area, but dont have it blowing right on the buds.

It should take around 7-14 days for full drying. Maybe a little more or less depending on your harvest.

The stems should bend not snap completely.

You want them to be slightly moist...but not wet. Overall sort of dry.

Then put em into airtight containers in a cool dark area. Jars are good.

They should stay in the jars for about 2 weeks...and should keep in those jars for many years.

Your smell/taste should greatly improve during curing.
