retarded plant?

Yea so check out this seedling. Why is it growing this way? Its under the same light as three others, but none but this one is acting like that lol. Could it be bad genictis?IMG_20121016_052214.jpgIMG_20121016_052204.jpg

Yeah the stem growth looks weird :D It did that bending naturally?? I would bury that bent part underneath the soil, it would maybe get some nice roots and more support. If the plant continues to grow like that, I would imagine that the bent stem could have some serious issues with supporting the plant...And this is just common sense talking, I have no experience with this kinda problem :D

Yea that's what I'm gonna do when I trans plant. But the leaves are all deformed and shit as well. Is the tap root doing something funky to lol?

Can't really tell all that much from those pics...but they say that these "fucked up" plants can turn out be hyperpotent in some cases so not necessarily a bad thing at all :D I would love to see some more pics later on

yeah looks like it fell over when it was young and you didnt prop it up or something was droped
Or maybe the light fell down and was laying on the table for a few days.............
Dee Dee Deeeeeeeeeeeee............
Don't kill it off, grow it out, bury the stem like already suggested- you might have something cool when it grows up.

Only people can be retarded
thats not true genetically speaking... and "retarded" isnt really proper term just more fun. triploidy plants for example are "retarded" but in a good way.

@ the OP

buddy it looks like the seedling stretched when it was little and bent itself at the bend but managed to continue to grow, should be fine the plants not "retarded" your retarded for not supporting you seedling as it grew or putting the light close enough to prevent stretch.. but its all good plant is alive and kicking. did you top it?

No topping yet, I like to wait a while for some. I'm still dialing everything in and expermenting a little. I'm useing cfls plenty of wattage and about 3" off the tops. I transplanted today and burried it 2 nodes from the top. Ill post some pics here in a lil while.

I can see what happend. You arnt watering right. Can tell by the crader next to the stem. You pored water right on it bending the weak stem. You should water around the edges and let it flow into the middle. Just stake it and rebarry the stem.

I've done it a few times on accident. That's why when real small I set the solo cups in a bucket of water till wet. Only after 1 gallon buckets and can reach the edges do I water from the top. It's a pain when you have alot to water but it's only for a few weeks.

I normally use a spray bottle when they are seedlings or bottom water to be honest but can see it would easily be done.
