I have about 60 gallons of Roots Organic soil I used for my indoor grows this fall and winter, with 40 more gallons almost ready to dispose of. Can I till this into the outdoor soil? I can imagine it is somewhat hot, but after all of the flushing, I wonder how hot it is? I have some "stuff" called rapid flush, used to remove the salts that build up (although I have never used it).
Last year I used the old soil on my lawn to reseed the grass in various spots and it did well.
Last year I used the Roots Organics, but at $25 a bag (using 30 or so bags) is a huge cost factor in planning my outdoor grow. I like growing outside, but don't want to spend $2,000 on soil mix (last year I got horrible bud rot).
So I have (I am guessing) 10 bags of used soil which would reduce my cost by 1/3.
Any ideas?
