Revegging

I have some girls that are bout 3 wks into flower. I had some clones rooting, but due to power outage for 4 dys lost the cuttings.
My question is, if I were to take a cpl clones from the flowering plants. Would they be OK after the long time to sprout roots.
Or would they just be a bunch of retards. Reason I ask, is because I don't have any more beans of this strain. And can't get anymore, would hate to lose it.
Thanx in advance.

Cloning a flowering plant is possible, it just takes longer, and so can be a bit tricky. You could also just reveg whole plants after you harvest. Just leave about 1/3 of each plant including leafs, remove any remaining flowers, and put back under 18/6 or whatever you veg with.

Ok cool. I've taken cuttings at 1 wk of flower, just never 3 wks or so.
I noticed you said if revegging a plant to remove the flowers. What about on the clones, should I do that also?
Thanx for the reply.

i have a plant revegging at the moment. its very easy so long as the plant isnt too nutrient deprived and enough foliage is left on. after 2.5 weeks i am seeing leaves emerging from the buds still on the plant :) i do this only when saving a nice keeper whose clones failed to root.

Sweet, I knew they would root, was just wondering if it would end up causing problems in the long run. Such as a tendency to herm etc.
She's a good stable strain, never any problems since I started running it. I just didn't wanna lose her. Got a lot of time spent in weeding out the best cuttings for a while now.
Thanx for the help

you'll prob get some mutated leaves and a possible series of single fingered leaves but they almost always grow themselves out of it

That's good to hear. Need to get off my lazy ass and get some CS and stock up on beans.
Thanx again for the info.

Or just keep cloning. It's hard for some of us to keep mothers due to space but if you found something that blows you away then clone it. You can take two cuttings and seed one of them
