Rf interference with cmh?

I am about to buy my first 315 cmh and was wondering if anybody has experienced rf interference with a cmh ballast?

I've read that it shouldn't be a problem with most newer digital ballasts but I just wanted to see if anybody had any problems.

Also a low frequency square wave won't cause RF issues. It's the high frequency ballasts that have the potential to emit significant RF.

It can be an issue. Nanolux even makes filters to help with that issue.

You are best with a unit that has the ballast hooked directly to the reflector without a wire (antenna). The direct connection is usually shielded with grounded housing and that prevents the RF emission.

The ballast I am getting connects to the hood with a very short cable and is low frequency square wave so I guess i should be ok.
