Rhode Island to Legalize Recreational use.

Just like with any other product for sale. You pay taxes.
Medical will still be around. simply for the larger quantity of plants you can keep.
As someone already pointed out. If you spend the time reading the entire bill. you can clearly see the medical laws will not be affected at all. CG's still get cards and patients for the same prices. Compassion centers will not want to dish out the money required to switch from a medical to a recreational use operation. The cost for them to start up medical was so high it's like a kick in the face if they had to pay DOUBLE to go rec.
BUT. with it legal who is gonna be coming to check to make sure you only have 18 max.
Or to see that you have the right number of adults living in your house to have so many.
The whole point of this bill is an experiment JUST LIKE COLORADO AND WASHINGTON.
I'm sure they will change up the laws once they take effect. And may not limit numbers of plants.

i have read it the first time... yes the entire thing.. it says nothing about cardholders what so ever... i hope that your right and it does not affect cardholders but i do not think that is the case and when it does pass patients who are in actual need of meds wont be able to sign someone to give meds to them like it is now.
you guys read the above outloud... it is talking about the medical use of thc and marijuana not being affected by the new laws. Doesnt say anything about cardholders or plant count or anything else of importance. Just that it will not get in the way of any laws regarding the USE of thc or marijuana.
oh well, idc... im not voting on it. They start us with next to nothing so they can control the entire thing and we accept it then they will gradually take more an more away once the money starts rolling in from all the general public paying for it. With 3 mature plants allowed they know people will buy all the time and corner the whole industry... just because they legalizing it doesnt mean the laws are better for us than what we have now.
also, finally you guys should read the whole thing because there is a nice clause in there for landlords rights against renting when someone wants to grow mmj. So unless your a homeowner or know of a cool landlord it will be in all leases saying no mmj manufacturing in the apartment or house your renting...
these are just my opinions based on what is written so not harsh feelings towards things. Just dont the "hype" of the term legalized get in your view

That says it all. they will not modify any medical laws. so YES it does say something about CGs and patients. because BOTH are listen under Medical law. No need to think otherwise. You will be fine bro. Don't start thinking you are going to have to drop that lovely count of yours. YOU have the license YOU paid the state to get.
The law is just being shifted to force the FEDERAL lift on MJ prohibition. When it's lifted on the federal level. I don't think they will be able to control quantity. The increasing number of growers will make it nearly impossible.
No stressing though bro. You and your patients will still have the same relationships as before.
You really think that your patients will go off to 7/11 for a sac at a higher cost and shittier quality that what you offer them?
You care. and are proving that now. By making sure you and yours are taken care of if this all goes through.

So here's what's up federally. Personally ill stick with medical but if they open the flood gates legal I'm buying the biggest farm I can get a loan for and going nutz. Here what's up to date on the federal agenda I think the hearing is soon or already happened.

the medical program is different than the laws in place for non patients in co fwiw.
