It's about fucking time. Too bad Newt won't take the hint.
Scary thought.... Santorum drops out graciously, campaigns with Romney and then becomes choice for V.P. and they cover enough of the political spectrum of voters to pull off a tight win. Romney goes more middle of the road republican and Santorum appeals to the rest of the batshit crazy voters needed to win.
Worst nightmare ever.
but anyways it is time to shift the campaign coverage to the few people that are in the mix for V.P.
Also Im assuming that Santorum was pressured from influence from within the party. Trying to shorten the nominee race and focus on the real election for Obama they need all the extra time they can get.
nikki haley will be the VP pick, i promise this to every one and will bet a small amount of money on it.

I just feel like Ryan or Rubio just dont do anything in my mind. I think the dynamic of this election is prime for something big to happen to kind of establish the ground Romney stands on because the sooner he does that the better. I mean the last election had the whole VP thing going I guess but McCain just wasn't the best candidate. Romney, Im sure knows that he needs to get the Ron Paul/Santorum Fringe voter types and I see this as the easiest way to do it. Remember they have been preaching that goal number one is BEAT OBAMA. That will be the new motivation to reunify the extreme voters to the more Romney type republicans.
Rubio would be great for Florida and the hispanic vote.
A woman would be an asset too.
I realize the need for a win in Florida but I don't think it would completely fill the gap of voters Romney needs. Also I do see a benefit to the female nominee but once again I think Romney needs a very strong VP candidate not a niche voter candidate.
