I've thought of this as well. My thinking is that if high doses of RSO over relatively short periods of time(like within a few months for cancer patients) is beneficial, then wouldn't small doses of RSO over longer periods of time(like years maybe) also be beneficial, in a preventative way? I've been using RSO almost every day for about 6 months. I use various amounts as I need just on the tongue with coffee or some other beverage. I sometimes step up dosing throughout the day, sometimes take a single larger doses and ride that out, and sometimes take true microdoses. This hypothesis has certainly crossed my mind at times, but I'm not specifically using it for a medical benefit. I just really love it!
I am in the middle of my very first grow, and I was hoping to make some RSO of my own using trim and avb bud I have stored up. Interestingly, I really like the prospect of making a racy, sativa based RSO. I've had a few samples of RSO that put amphetamines to shame. I was racing around my workplace like crazy! I actually don't care as much about the restful, heavy RSO feeling that is so common
Worth noting that the body's endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating inflammation, so no reason to think cannabis wouldn't help in this regard.
