This year we have 2 greenhouses, his and mine. We have already fought so much and won against all types of attacks against our plants. An attempted theft when our plants were still in pots in veg, bugs, powdery mildew, and even a knock on the door from the state police with a compliance check. After all that, and TONS of hours of hard work, our plants are big, beautiful, and oh so stinky and so close to being done. Well it appears that somebody out there is trying to reap the benefits of all OUR hard work again this year. My old man, bless his heart, stays up every night babysitting these greenhouses, sometimes with help, sometimes by himself, and always with our 2 dogs and our pup in training. This morning, at about 3:15am, he heard voices. Then a rock got thrown at our fence, I'm assuming to test the dogs. My man shot off our 22 into the air and listened to them run away down our driveway, 3 of them he thinks. Last year they came through the woods. This year walked right up the damn driveway. I guess I have 2 reasons for posting our story.....1) To put it out there to let the rest of you know the rippers are out and so are their balls. Guard what you worked your asses off for. (This is Muskegon/Oceana county area btw.) 2) I'm looking for any advice on what more we can do, within the limits of the law, to keep these scum sucking thieving bastards from getting us again. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Motion activated lights along with your dogs should do the trick.

I just picture it as if I have been working for years trying to build my way up get bigger spots, like them taking that 200k garden it's not just the plants it's years and years of work that you have out in not trying to sound gangster just saying like it's ALOT more then just a plant it's food shelter everything you need to survive on and everything you have put in

It dosnt seem like it's worth a little more to you the. Just giving it away?

You need to come to terms that growing pot outside on your property is not doable without confrontation. They`ll be back every year. Armed thugs will walk right in your door for the right payoff.

Your site has been exposed and you can`t hide the smell outside in a populated area where a desperate junkie or opportunist will have all summer to plan their raid. Without high costs of securing your grow, like barbed wire fences on top a ten foot brick wall for example it is just a smarter play to relocate your grow.

Might I suggest a good guerrilla grow.

U guys must have some micky mouse rippers in your area.. around here they come with aks and kick in your door.. I wouldn't get into a gun fight at my house where my family stays when I have what? A shotgun? Semi automatic handgun?? Whatever it may be u lose unless you realize that from the jump u will get yourself and your loved ones chopped down like trees!

Where u from Mexico with the cartels? No where in the us is like that ha

I was dropping the subject it's dumb to each there own how far they want to go with protecting their crop.

And hell no I wouldn't have my family at my huge grow

Yea iv heard of that a few times sucks but they would need like 30 people to play pretend cause they come really deep when they do raids just unessasary. Not like 3 or 4 guys dressed up.
