Rippers came this morning

Or are you just confirming to the thieves that they have come to the right place?
In many rural areas it is common place to see No Trespassing signs. Lots of landowners limit access to thier land for any number of reasons. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV's or just for the fact that they know it's the only way to really have any true rights on their own property.
They'd be spending a lot of time searching land on that criteria alone and come up empty handed in my area, for sure.

Very common in our neck of the woods BUT the state cop that came to check our plants a couple weeks ago mentioned he knew he was at the right place because of the signs and fences. Damned if you do, damed if you don't as far as rippers are concerned I guess.

These are kids, late teens, early 20's, that tried to get us we believe. Small town boys, not thugs or gangsters. Got a good idea of who they might be but no proof YET. Pretty sure it's a group of people that are friends of one of our family members. Sad, I know. Can't trust anybody. Worst part is that we have asked this family member not to bring anybody to our house and he didn't listen. Thanks buddy, way to lookout for your blood.

You need to speak up, be the asshole. Its whats wrong with the world, no one stands up or speaks out. KICKEM the fuck out lol

Maine’s castle law, revised in 2007, allows for the use of deadly force in defense of person and property when it is believed that it is necessary to prevent a criminal from committing a crime on one’s property or inside their home. Maine does not have a duty to retreat. However, deadly force is justified only after the victim has warned the intruder and given him an opportunity to leave the home or property.
We don't fuck around up here lol

WAIT, you tell him not to bring these "rippers" and he did anyway. Is this guy setting you up?
VERY good question. Is he setting us up? Did he set us up last year? Don't think that thought hasn't crossed my mind. And you're not the first person that's pointed out that very obvious betrayal. All I can tell you is that this person has been told multiple times not to bring anybody to our house. My old man even refused help from him that he desperately needed in our greenhouses because he wasn't coming without his little toadies in tow. A week later he shows up with 2 of them. A week after that he shows up with 2 more. Next night/early morning there are people on our property. Things that make ya go 'hmmm'.

This is a grown man, with his own grow, that chooses to hang around with a younger "party crowd". He's okay with the traffic at his house. To each their own but don't bring it to our house, especially when you're specifically told not to.
