Risks of presexing plants when small

I plan on growing some plants from seed this year and would like to sex indoor while in solo cups before I plant outside. I would prefer to flip lights when they're about 6 inches tall, this way they will still be easy to transport to the field. I've read mixed opinions about this method and supposedly the plants can be stressed. Does anyone have experience with this? Anyone get a hermi?

Im gonna do it this year. cant imagine any big issues as long as you dont let them begin flowering. so as soon as preflowers show put them back in veg, and they should continue growth without any major stunting. Revegging is what takes forever. I plan to go 12/12 from seed, and as soon as preflower show, set my light schedule to the amount of daylight hrs occuring at the time i plan to put my plants outside, this way no stress is put on them when bringing outside.(as far as light hrs go, temps and conditions are a different story)
