God damn!! Minimum wage here is $8 an hour shits crazy our dollars are worth about the same too but the cost of living must be crazy in Australia I remember talking to one guy bitching about the price of beer and shit talking about how much cheaper the US is to visit then staying in Australia, but at least your weed is cheaper may cost slightly more but our minimum wage is half of yalls.

the cost of living is very high. Examples the median rent here in this state is $440 a week, median house price is $550,000

Yeah, thats fucking nuts $440 a week you can shit hole for $600 a month, in a black ghetto down south you can get an apartment for like $300 a month $800 a month you can have a nice 1 bedroom apartment and $100 grand will get you a decent home may need some work but not too much.
