Before I joined this site recently, I took a look at all the "shit posting/talk" about this and other well known sites. Most hate seems to be in regards to Mods, Advertisers, Censorship and Site Ownership.

This site looked to have the least of these issues and a good community.

However, with social media and sites that sell gear have their forums, which I think is where the majority of new MJ Users flock to first.

But to be fair, I also was persuaded by the DIY LED threads.

As far as the advertisers go they're new and they chat with us on a daily basis. If they're not cool they get their balls busted by the forum.

Funny thing, the last MJ forum (420Boards) I was on BECAME (420space?) a social media site. I just tried to google-fu it, nothing but the owner's old avy to be found lol 420kid.gif

I was a member of overgrow way back when they started. Loved that site (lowers head for a moment of silence). That being said, I only recently joined rui, and a few of the others. It wasn't long before I dropped the others, and except for a rare occasion, rui is my go to. Less arrogance, better set up, and friendlier members. It would be nice to have a gallery, similar to overgorws. Great job guys, keep it up!

Bring back the arrogance ,the rudeness,the members sniping at every opp.,the knock down drag outs. They cleaned up RUI.. They cleaned up Pinac. Where is a mean spirited, small minded malcontent to go?

Ive been a member of the AFN for 2 years now and RIU for I dont know how long!! I will say the AFN still educates.. something this sight lost log ago!!!
The AFN exist because of the RIU.. long ago no one gave the auto a chance here so we made our own sight!! Its huge now!!!
the only one of its kind!!! They dont discriminate against photos are autos!!! they love to grow cannabis!!! I like the RIU and i wish it would get back to its roots!!!

I'm glad its NOT me paying for the server time here... Maybe one day the the RIU will go .net and use HTTPS.. But that cost money!! and Id hope to see this place get back to growing pot and educating the old and the new growers.. just sayin!!!

I'm not sure if I believe you chunky. A lot of ppl are claiming this but I tend to think these users you claim are trolls/socks are just folks that you don't like or agree with. How can you know that you know?
