RO reservoir set up?

Tolerance Break

Im doing a ebb and flow 2 tent set up, nothing huge. I need roughly 30 gallons once a week. I have an apec 5 stage RO system w/ auto shut off. I was thinking about getting a 55 gallon tub, put a float valve in it, elevate it, and drain from a valve on the bottom into 6 gallon jugs I can carry around. I realize that shit is going to be heavy. Ive scoured the forum looking for posts, Renfro had alot of good advice but he isnt around anymore.

Im looking for advice, things I might not be considering, or better set ups I could emulate.

Any input would be appreciated. - TB

55 gallon water barrel on a raised stand. Float inside or a manual valve hung in thru the bungs on top. Can feed ro thru the bung knockout into a pipe with adapter. Put a heavy duty ball valve on the bottom of the barrel and gravity drain easily. You can build a sturdy wood stand for it. Find a used one cheap (Got one for 10 bucks). There are also the portable collapsible rain barrel 55 gallon ones you can use that have the bottom drain built in.

Next time I'll put the drain hole in the bottom of the drum, run line through a hole in the stand, then angle over to a ball valve.
I would also recommend a UV filter for your RO set up. It will kill any algae and pathogens that might be in your source water.
