Nice set up. Got a link to that bucket and what is that a float stop gauge for the ro water? How did you set this up looks very nice

If your water is supplied by a town/city you should be able to either see their water analysis reports online or call for a free copy to be emailed to you.
I've been buying RO water for 20 years because our tap water comes from a dugout on my property and is unfit to drink. 400+ ppm and pH 8+. Need to get off my ass and install the RO gear I bought 6 months ago now that it's gone up to $4/5gal jug.

Proven over time. Cheap. Effective as hell and easily recharged. You can use food grade blue plastic barrels with a removable lid. With the locking ring retained and reused. Ask restaurants about pickle barrels.

Before floats, I flooded by garage a few times. lol
I have heard of floats failing - so far I have not had any problems. Work great.

I use a 35 gallon tote and a toilet bowl float switch. Works like a charm.
Edit: it was a brand new float. Fresh from the package. Never used before. Lol.

What's crazy about a filter? I just have the filter on the side of the furnace, the condensate discharge from the furnace goes through the filter and drips into a bucket. I get something like 2-6 gallons per day depending on how much the furnace runs. I use it mostly for my humidifiers.
