I have been thinking about ship designs beyond trucks, want to have some trucks/car like space craft, and flying saucers like before, and maybe also a couple like these.

The LEGO stuff seems pretty imaginative. 
I grew up on Lego. I wish I had pics of the space ships, aircraft, submarines, battleships and space stations I built as a kid.I've seen it! I like that movie, gotta re-watch it. I am a huge scifi and animation fan. Going to watch fifth element(scifi movie, some flying cars) and cowboy bebop(space themed western style anime series) again as well over the next week for ideas.

Yeah, I think that's the next step for sure.very cool ! its like very comic strippy, a story is unfolding, i can feel like your evolving into a whole new realm of drawing , a deeper story pathway and it looks so natural for you to do this, like unlocking a door that leads to a new world.
