rock nugs???

ok so ive ben growing for a few years now. and i love my weed it taste good smells good great yeilds and fucks you up...

down side..
ive never gotten rock hard nugs, they all ways turn out kinda airy not dense.

im using two 1000 watt hps in a flood and drain system good air vent etc... no co2 though..

any thoughts tips or tricks please..

light to far away and the no co2 maybe? my dad used to do a sog with 2 1000w hps and his buds were like that to. the lights were to high in my opinion and my thought to why they werent very nice plants. i know plants can only use so much light and im pretty sure when you get up into large scale like that you need the co2 to make the light useful

the lights are like 12 inch away cant get any closer with out burning em.. the strain im doing now is white russian.. from serious seeds.. so i know the strain should do it. my budy has the same and only one 1000 watter and his are like rocks massive colas.. maybe it is the co2 facter..

If there is no problem with your lights,,,then I suggest you look into a new strain.... I'm sure the strain threads have some gr8 ones....good luck with that :^)

I would say its your light...I had that problem for a few grows...I got my 600 watty a lot closer...rock hard nugs...

how about growing outside. this is my first year to grow and my plants gave me some really really good weed but my buds are not tight they are airy. i have been told it might have been the heat in the summer. here in the valley were i live its gets up around 110 112 in the summer any one have any ideas.
