You're all talking about outside forces acting upon inanimate objects here. The rock has to be moved to smash the scissors, just as the scissors have to be manipulated to cut the paper, and the paper isn't going to jump on top of the rock without some intervention. So maybe the real question isn't rock, paper, scissors, but what or who uses them and to what end.

hahaha first off i love this conversation, as i consider it all the time.
i know i'm a dork for refrencing this but that one nerdy show.. uhm i forget what its called
But they play rock paper scissorrs lizard spock or something
and on the wild thornberries they played like gazelle, fruit, lion. gazelle eats fruit, lion eats gazelle, fruit gives lion a stomach ache.

seran wrap immobilizes rock

How would Saran wrap immobilize rock any better than a piece of paper? You must have some super-Saran.

cause see paper, just covers i and it couldnt fully go around a rock, but saran wrap is sticky so once its around the rock theres no way of gettin the rock out ;)

Like ive said a million times not seran rap not lizard not magic wand but paper should be replaced with fire cracker its honestly the best thing and makes the most sense

a small fire cracker could not blow up a rock the size of ur fist man, but if were talkin dynamite then thats more reasonable, we'll take a little of urs and a little of myne and we got dynamite :D rock dynamite scissors

Paper is infinite. Once it is cut there is two of it to deal with. Cut one of the two to make 3 all up and so on. Then try dealing with 100 papers coming at you.

Cutting so many would blunt the scissors eventually so paper beats scissors when they cannot cut anymore.

Rock smashes the blunt scissors the same way it always has.

The 100s of bits of paper easily cover or somehow paper cut rock to tiny pieces which eventually would turn it to sand.
