You're fine. If it's growing then it will be alright. The root will dig in. Just make sure not to over water and you should see the root come out of the bottom of the cube in about a week.

Lets see. My rockwool tips. Always soak it and as far as the ph to soak it in somewhere between 4 and 5.5 is cool. Only water when it needs it, it can look somewhat dry but still be moist enough for the roots. Don't worry about roots coming out of the bottom of the cube. The only time you really have to transplant is when it becomes a pain in the ass to keep it watered. I don't think there really is much else it's not to complicated.

I do all my growing in rockwool. I keep my mothers in 5 gallon buckets filled with granulated rockwool. I clone in rockwool and I do sog using 4 inch cubes. So far I have't run into any issues other than not soaking them and keeping the moisture right. It's really simple you just have to get a feel for the moisture.

Last note, never put the rockwool in water under a ph of 4. There really isn't any reason to do this but if you do the rockwool will start to fall apart.

It means growing lots of smaller plants rather than a few large ones.

You could probably take your soil and transplant that into a bigger pot with granulated rockwool in it. It would probably be better to just finish up with the soil and then put new seeds or clones into rockwool.

is it possible to switch from soil to rock wool if so wat would i need to do

well i wanted to grow in a swamp but i know the constant water and soil will sufocate the roots and cause them to rot so i was trynna figure a way to change this.... what would be the best way to grow ina swamp

Rockwool is very forgiving. It is hard to overwater it take a while. It will stay moist for a long time also. I grow in it the entire grow. It matters little how shallow you started it. The roots establish quickly and the little overwatering would give the roots a lot of oxygen and that would give your roots a boost to begin with. Stick with it and it will work out.

You might try to elevate a small area so the plants are above the swamp level. There is another problem, however. The water in a swamp contains low levels of oxygen due to the biotic activity (rotting) on the floor of the area, both above and below water.
