Rockwool/jiffy pellets in ebb and gro

Hello friends,

Just a few quick questions since i've never used these in a hydro setup.

I got some clones rooted in Jiffy pete pellets. Transplanted them into 4" rockwool and buried that about 1 1/2" below flood line on my ebb n gro setup.

My main question is how often should I be watering? These plants are in their 1st week of veg.

Was originally flooding 4 times per day, but the pellets on top of the rockwool seemed soaked all the time so I just backed it down to 3 times a day. Every 8 hours.

Rockwool is sticking out of hydroton about 2 inches so it has plenty of air to dry out between cycles. I'm just worried about the pellets on top.

Humdity in the room is ~15-20%.

Any info is helpful.

i have 3 flood tables...i flood each of my trays for 10 mins, every 21/2 hours, during lights on cycle, and 0 times during lights out...i recently just switched to this flood schedule...i used to do however many mins it took my pump to get to my desired fill line, every 3 hours....u will be fine even if the jiffy is a little wet...is it soaked constantly or just damp..got any pics???hope this helps at all....check out my grow...link in sig and u can see my tables.....ganja

The jiffy stays pretty wet. Not sure if that will cause stem rot or any problems like that. Kinda worried about it.
