rockwool question

It wont hurt your plant, but it will compete for nutrients. The problem is easily fixed by covering up the rockwool exposed to the light.

I would run a layer of b/w poly over my rockwool slabs. Had holes cut for the plants to come thru. If I had problems, I could just cut it out, and fashion in a replacement. Helped keep the light off the roots, and the algae on the tops of the slabs controlled. Still little bits there, but minimized.
