Nah man don't do it. Don't finish her off like that... it looks too good not to let it finish.
Give her a month and don't rip yourself of good bud. ;-)

BM had some bad hot days I see. Is it because of the CFLs? I'm interested. What were the contributing factors?
Let me learn :D

And again, don't cut the NL... you'll make me sad...

PS: Those socks look really cool. But aren't they for girls? :P

The BM got messed up really due to the CFLs being too close and poor humidity. That's why I stress having the humidity atleast 45% minimum for the 1st 3 weeks. If you can keep it as high as 70-80&% that'll be even better.
As far as cutting her down, I need something to smoke. Been going nuts for the past month and I'm tired of going to my dealer. Shit's too expensive IMO and the amount I smoke can't compete with my pockets lol.
And nan purple's my fav color can't you tell by the pheno types I pick? lol I'm a fashionable stoner at times.

I'd recommend you don't harvest it at once, but still wait a couple of weeks.

...You know, I'd also be very prompted to try some...:D I haven't smoked for 4 years, and now is my first grow going, so I may be in an easier situation.... you know, what's another 3 month for me? :D

PS: How does your NL smell like? Surprisingly, mine is already giving off a citrus scent, and it's soo promising when I come home to this smell. It's like what a good air freshener should smell like.

The more light the better specially with cfl's. Im using 4 -200wt cool bulbs with 8-23wt warm bulbs.ill have them over 4 plants. And harvesting every 2-3 weeks using the whole line of fox farm nutes.

I'm letting her live another week if I don't see resin by the end of this week. Its weird cuz my last grow stunk the whole garden up & had resin everywhere! Whereas my NL doesn't smell nor does it have resin unless I'm getting senile so young.

I was reading a lot of NL auto and C99 grow journals (the other strain I have, not yet planted), and the C99 (which is mostly sativa) may need just as much time as the NL.

That seems a lot for this auto, but it can grow to a decent size and can give average yields.

I've tried looking for your journal but I can't find it. The only reason she may live past this week is because I see no resin which is strange to me because my LA had resin around week 3/week 4 of flowering and I chopped her down at week 5. BTW she was some killer bagseed smoke.
Does yours have any trichs or is it just the NL strain itself?

C99 is an awesome strain, smoked it about a yr ago and it's some killer shit. Does she grow tall? And I'm trying to find NL auto grows that are similar too mine because I find more HPS grows than CFL ones. Mines seem to be on track but I don't see any trichromes in site.

UPDATE!

So this morning I woke up to check on them before the lights go off and one of my NL's smaller branches(the top of it to be exact) was almost snapped off. I taped her up best I could but only time will tell if she will heal or if I have to remove that portion of the branch.

Also is it normal for NL autos from nirvana not to develop resin? My LA had tons of it and was around the same age as my NL as far as flowering goes and I don't see any at all. Can someone please enlightening me on this please!!!!!

Hey! If you are so eager, how about you take that broken branch and sample it? At least you'll know what to expect if you harvest your plant in this state.
If it's not broken, don't fix it. ( or smoke it in this case lol) :dunce: *dumb*

the 3 phenos of the nl bb auto (different from yours) are all going to be ready at different times. I laugh when they tell you they will be ready in 60 days....lol some are ready in 5 weeks some ready in 12. all autos are so unstable its not even funny, they will always be different, every seed. Out of the last run of 50 autos I did, (same strain and seeds from the same bud) 3 were just like their sisters. 47 were totally different heights, bud devolopment, high's, ect. you really need to grow them and harvest them on an individual basis.

one of the nl bb autos, just started to flower at 8 weeks, it only has thumb nail size buds and is 3.5 ft tall and is 65 days old

So everything seems to be going smooth this week. I'm glad I waited out cutting her because my NL is really starting to fill out and putting on weight. Now to recap the week plant by plant. Oh btw my Candy kush popped so i'mma start a brand new thread for her and my bubblicious. It'll be posted shortly.
Northern Lights(Emma)-
She's really starting to fill out and put on weight. I would update you guys on the trichromes(Resin is finally starting to appear on the leaves!) and how they look but the local radioshack claims to not have any microscopes(-__-) and the one I ordered isn't here yet But I'm still assuming next week or the following week is the week of harvest. Her lower leaves on the branches are starting to yellow and the lower fan leaves(well what's left of them anyway) are starting to yellow so that means she's at that point. Sorry for the shitty quality I was rushing taking the pics today

Blue Mystic(Stacie)-

She's going really well. She has preflowers everywhere and this weekend/this week coming up I'm starting her on her flowering nutes. Also Her root system is starting to take hold and she's about to fill in the pot with roots soon. She probably won't be finished until mid to late march. I've removed some leaves that appeared to be really heat stressed and burnt but everything seems to be going pretty well beyond that. She's about 8in high and almost a foot. By the end of the grow I expect her to be atleast a foot and a half tall(sorry I don't know the metric conversions off the back).

Please, tell me how big are those plants (NL), and be sure to post a full-plant image in your weekly update, if you can :leaf:

PS: Put more soil in those containers. It's like half the capacity lol. How come? :D It also makes it harder to water without fertilizer water burning your leaves.

I'd say your plants look good, but there is a friendly competition of plants going on right now! :D

Great job anyways. :-P

Here's a little tease of my NL before I cut her down Saturday(Yes I know about it's not ready blah blah blah). I've flushed her with 2 gallons of water today and she should be dry by Saturday considering that it takes only a day & a half before the soil is almost completely dry. My NL is 32 inches(about 82 cm) tall Noham.

In addition to my NL plant Emma, my Blue Mystic Stacie was suffering from nute burn for awhile however I mistaken it for heat stress so that's why she's so behind for 6 weeks. So I flushed her as well today so she should be looking alot better by week 7(Sunday). I'm taking to take her down at some time around the 1st or 2nd week of March. Hopefully she will put on more height by then cuz she's about 11 inches(28 cm).

Here's my NL

Yes.
It's not even close to being ready... :D

Be sure to add more light next time. It might have been more developed with more light. 6x26w? That is really not much :D

I am awaiting your smoke report.
I guess it's still better than what I could get here... :D

I'm running 8 lights with my new reflector. I'mma add the other two reflector lights once my candy kush takes off.

Actually if I wait one more week she will be ready because majority of the leaves are turning. She's already on 9 weeks which is fine with me as I said my blue mystic is the one I truly want to run its full course despite having nute burn.

I will also post my pre-harvest smoke & after harvest smoke report.
