Romulan cfl box grow 8th week

This is my first time growing and im doing a little homemade box with 4 lst'd Romulan clones. Im in week 8 right now, so the buds are looking pretty. Before i set all this up i germinated a few random bag seeds and flowered them from seedlings just to see how it would work, anyway had no clue what i was looking for in the buds and wasnt feeding, (I know, stupid, but i jumped the gun on em, starting before i was truly ready) but i saw how they open up and drop flowers to herm.

My main question is this: Should i remove the little Pistil bulbs that eventually drop flowers? i see they are starting to get pretty fat on my 4 big girls. any help would be awesome. thanks

Looks good man! How long did you veg? How many total watts are you using, and what color bulbs? Im getting ready to do a pure cfl grow very similar to this. I was going to do a SOG, but may try LST like you to cut down on the number of plants.

Thanks hiddenidentity. I veg'ed my 2 bigger plants for about 4 weeks and the 2 smaller about 3.5 weeks. just how my clones came out, and again partially my impatience and also a result of my spacial limitations. all together i have roughly 220-230 watts running right now, all 2700k. during veg i had roughly 200 watts, about 150w at 6500k and 50w 2700k. LSTing really makes a difference, really dense foliage and alot of good buds. I also have a 6 clone SOG (with LST incorporated) going on in a smaller box, with 100 watts of 2700k bulbs over them and they look pretty good too, just much smaller nugs, i would try and be patient and do the lst, will save hassel in my opinion, and they look so good when they get going, Hope this helps you out

I don't understand what your asking. Are you saying that male flowers are growing on your buds? Or did you get a hermie or something...?
Restate question clearly please.

Thanks for the reply Beansly! but sorry about the clarity on the question, here is try 2. so i grew a few bag seeds (12/12 2700k) and wasnt trying to get any bud off of them or anything just kind of wanted to see how the plants cycle, they all 3 were female, only one really made it very long (i wasnt feeding, and they were in solo cups) after the other 2 died away or whatever, the 3rd one dropped some flowers or something from that pistil area (not sure how far into the cycle this was) and pollen was noticeably dropping from it. so now on my 4 big girls pictured above, the pistils are realllllly fat and i dont want them to drop those flowers again. did that only come about because i didnt harvest the first plant in time and it eventually just grew out past its prime? or is it a necessary step in order to make it to week 12 with un-hermed flowers? i hope this is a little bit more clear.

Unless your "pistils" (those are those white hairs btw. I still cant tell if you know that. Im not trying to be condescending, I'm just trying to understand) grow little bulb like protrusions from them, then you can keep flowering them until peak ripeness. That being when the trichomes turn milky white. Those flowers that dropped the pollen grew out because the plant was a hermie, or a male. Letting your plant grow for too long doesn't cause male flowers to appear. I hope this helps a little. If not, please let me know what I missed. Good luck

Yea dude no worries about being condescending, its hard to explain all this shit imo. I do know what the pistils are, i've actually taken a couple college plant science classes, so i understand how plants grow and everything, im just not good with the marijuana specifics yet. The way you put it "Unless your "pistils" grow little bulb like protrusions from them, then you can keep flowering them until peak ripeness." sounds better. The pictures show that they deffinitley have little bulbs that stick out, so will i have to harvest prematurely? or will i lose all my crop?

Those are calyxes basically just preflowers. You don't need to worry about those, they don't drop pollen so if you had any pollen than it came from somewhere else.
