Ronco Food Dehydrator

Hi there. I am putting together a grow cabinet. A friend of mine offered me a Ronco Food Dehydrator. I laughed at the thought but read the manual and it works for herbs. I was curious if anyone has tried a dehydrator to dry their herbs. It would dry the herbs, but will it hurt the curing process??

Im laughing at the idea too but im not totally sure. A dehydrator would dry the weed out too fast and i would not call that curing. Curing takes time for the chemical process to start and to get a smooth smoke. If i was outta dry smoke i would dehydrate a little but that's it.

You need to read Al B Fucts post on his bud dryer. I have one of the food dehydrators so I tried it to see what it might do. Gets over 100degrees in a matter of minutes. Still like the idea so I am going to see if I can hook it up to a reastat (1000watt) and control the temp to 84F. I'll let you know. VV
