so im getting raind on almost everyday right now, so last week i built a rooftop for my garden. i just made a rectagle with pvc and put 4 posts at the corners to hold it up, and some thick plastic over, still lets aot of light through. its only about 3 inches above the tip of the tallest one. but all the plants have begun flattening out the tops of he branches. almost like the dont want to grow up just fatter. theyre very small buds still so theyre not just finishing up theyre not even close to done. is thier a height restriction with roofs coveruiing plants outdoors? they dont grow like that indoors.

They would have to hit the roof and try to go thru it before they quit growing any taller if they still want to grow tall. A few things could be happening. 1 the stretch is done and they are just going to build thickness,2 but you say they are new tiny bud sites, they could be in the transition mode waiting to flower like a MF'er 3 the ground is to wet or the temp is to cold and they have stopped growing a bit for a minute 4 your suffacating them if you don't have any air getting in. Sound like you need to pick a strain that flowers earlier or start earlier, one or the other next year or both. :peace:

yeah, i am not sure if the stretch is done, but only becasue the lower buds are doing the same things, and they are a couple weeks behind the tops. but even where its still just the begining of bud its still crystally as a mother. the ground is probly pretty cold its raind almost 2 weeks and the ground is rarley sunny, sun shines like 6 inches of above the ground where my patch is, never really directly on the ground. and air circulation would be fine. no walls :) lol ill try and get more info and maybe a picture or two.
