when I used it ,every few weeks I would take out the top couple of inches of the pot and top dress with fresh soil and then water it in which worked well (I only stopped using it to learn hydro and leds as I found out that besides 3 months of the year heat is my enemy... and it will be yours lol) ... you could add nutes if u wanted but I cant offer any help on that side sry

Well first thing I don't like is that light laying down beside the cups. Your cups are clear and very thin, you could be drying out the roots and getting the soil too warm even though the top seems moist.

Second is the top light. You need to move those girls right under the light. Unless you moved them for the pic the plant seems to be stretching away from it. If you need temp control go and buy a cheap small space heater with a thermostat, in Canada I can buy one for less the 20$. You want the girls to be praying to the light, begging for more. They seems to be stretching away for some reason.

Also I used a 12" fan about 4' away on setting one, with it oscillating and my plants loved it, it's only 6 inches tall, but bushy and a nice very strong thick stem.

I'm. Not sure if that clip fan is doing it for you.

This is just a few things I can think of to restrict growth.

hey mate...I think only you can answer that question..if it feels stuffy for you then it will be for your plants... ventilation is very important

We have had cool Temps here at night in Canada already, down around 7-9°c and my girls outside have done fine. I wouldn't recommend the cold too much, but as long as they don't get too much frost they will still do OK, so 17°c is nothing to worry about in my opinion, but at the same time ideal Temps are meant to increase growth and yield so might as well try your best to achieve it.

How many days are you from germination or sprout?

Hey all!
I am a rookie grower and new to the site. I was looking for a little help.
I have three plants that sprouted from some seeds that I curiously germinated. They have grown to be about 8 inches tall with vibrant green leafs. Strong stems and pungent aroma. After doing some research, they appear to be female.
I have them under a 600watt MH light that a buddy happened to leave during a move of apartments.
One immediate concern are the discolored bottom leaves seen one of the pics. If anyone has suggestions as to what my next move should be, please feel free to respond.

Like I said, I'm new to the forums and uninformed on posting etiquette.20140904_002733.jpg20140904_002733.jpg 20140904_002733.jpg 20140904_002822.jpg 20140904_002733.jpg 20140904_002822.jpg 20140904_002805.jpg 20140904_002841.jpg 20140906_235212.jpg

ahh id say probably 3 weeks they have actually started to pickup a bit last few days trying to get much fresh air running through as it is kinda confined in the wardrobe as you could see :(
