Before you seal the walls (if you haven't) your 4" sewer vent is excellent to cut and use a "Y" in for exhaust air. Place the "Y" upside down as only air moves through the vent (unless catastrophe).

i could tie into it but, would I then need to be concerned with any smells coming in

Is that panda film you are using to wrap the room up in or something else? i will be starting soon with mine. and also being in MI. are you worried that the basement walls might leak in cold air over time? i planed on turning the 2x4's along my basement walls so i can slip in some R-13 insulation along the basement walls. I also prepped my basement walls with drylock i was just going to use sheet rock for the top but i think you are right with the top should be osb.

Yep, it's panda film. My basement stays at an ambient temperature of about 65 degrees so I'm not worried about low temps.

Hey , great solid work , I was just living In Indiana !!I heard MI going legal , drove to cadillac mi , saw like 5-10 hydro shops !!
I'm totaly subbed !
My only input is , that 55 gal res is going to make a bit of moisture in whatever room it's in
I'm sure your going to run a dehumidifier !!, but I had problems very quickly having my res in my grow room !
got PM quickly !!
But your build is so awsome , thanks for sharing
