My friend wants to grow in a room much like the attic that has open vents to the outside and were going into winter and the room gets very cold.. what could we do to control the temp without the use of propane burners or any of that other shit that can take flame..

Steps to control temp:
1. Make a frame with 2X4 lumber.
2. Add shiny half inch reflector board inside the frame.
3. Put insulation between studs.
4. Put exhaust fan near the top of the room.
5. Put a thermostat on the exhaust fan, in case the room gets too warm.
6. Put a small space heater on the floor.
7. Put plants on warming mats of electric blankets.

p.s.
Root temperature is more important than leaf temperature.
All lights warm the room. More light = more heat.

space warmers and electric blankets have both been known to start fires.. we're tryin to avoid that all together... I mean sure it will be attended to frequently but the household owner is out partying or working majority of the time so if some shit happened the whole house is goin up and nobody there to control or stop it
