ok folks....school me on processing rootballs for CBD extraction...I'm still a newb tryin' my best to learn...;))

From what I understand there is no cannabiniods in the roots. There are other medicinal properties but no thc or CBD, that's only contained in the trichrome heads. However the roots have been used as a medicine in ancient times, would like to see some modern research in its uses.

I thought in Canada the roots are still considered cannabis when, say they weight it as it contains cannabenoids?
