Root bound possibly in flower

You're fine mate.

The plant will redirect energy from root growth to bud production in the flowering stage. Your roots shouldn't really grow any more in theory.

Up potting/ trasnplanting is not necessary in the flowering stage.

I'd say it depends on how big your pot is and how big you want your plants to get. I used to grow 6 footers in 1 gal pots but I had to water them every day. 3 gal pots is a good compromise.

If you’re good at transplanting, then go ahead into a larger pot. Your plant will thank you for it.

I have some kk kush clones in 5 gal they only 18 inches and about 3wks in veg but have incredible amounts of roots out bottom and on top the ones in flower seem to be doing ok after putting another in soil is it possible its just a really short plant with crazy root sytems or maybe the root booster transplant stuff I used just too much the pot is as wide as plant

You could pull the plant out and slash the roots with a clean blade. This will allow for more root growth, pic off the cut roots and replace, if you can't transplant etc. Roots always grow , just slower in flower
