Root bound??

I vegged my plants in 7gallon smart pots for 4 months under 1000w MH's. I just put them into flower 6 days a go and am having droop problems. I water them at 1000ppm and they respond great, but not even 24 hours later they are droopy again. They are not super light like my other plants that are telling me they need water and drooping...they are sorta light but not fully and still drooping. The plants are very green and showing no signs of deficiencies.

Root bound? Should I transplant to 10gallons?

I believe HPS puts off more light intensity than MH.(at the same wattage) So if you switched bulbs when you started flowering that could be the culprit, not every plants adjusts to increased light intensity the same. Might need to increase the light distance. Especially on such a big plant, it's going to need more root mass to support the higher light intensity which doesn't grow overnight.

Howdy,
I talked to ScoobyDoobyDoo yesterday on the phone re water cooling etc. We met on Water Cooled Grow Rooms. He knows little re mini splits. He eventually mentioned that you live in a cold climate and that you run mini splits. He said he was going to email you and ask you if it was ok for him to give me your email address. If you are ok with this, that would be cool. I have questions. I live in MI and winters are cold. Thanks!

To hockey4848,

Can you please let me know what brand and model number mini split(s) you used??
I am asking as I think you live in a cold climate. I live in MI. I did find a Mitsubishi mini split that goes down to 0 degrees (with a wind baffle) but it is expensive. It also only has one zone. They don't sell a multi-zone one that goes down that cold :(
Is the one you have a multi-zone one?
Did you have to customize it to allow it to function properly in the cold weather?
If you did customize it, what exactly did you do to it?
How well does it work for you in the dead of winter?
