they look a lil ruff.. do a res change and run just ph ed water and some hydrogen peroxide to the water and run it for a few hours.. when you empty that out go back with 1/4 strength nutes that you were using and add some type of oxygen stone in there..i use a few table spoon full of peroxide in my res every fill. keep the roots healthy. but everything is in moderation so don't go crazy..

I don't know what is wrong by looking. I know this is no help but that is the very reason I use products that won't stain. I'm using Dyna Gro and it's clear in the water.

Perhaps empty your water, scrub the tank, line and bubbler with bleach then refill. You can add a product H202 that helps with slime/rot. I've been using 5-7 drops of bleach per gallon lately without problems.

I'm not going to tell you to add bleach to your water but if that was my stuff I would scrub it out, add fresh nutrient water and a few drops of bleach per gallon.

I lost a nice plant to rot and it was because of high temps. Prevention is so important, I really watch my water temps now.

View attachment 2915677View attachment 2915678 Are my roots just stained because of nutes or, do I have the early stages of slime/rot problems?? I'm running a DWC. If I add tea, can I rebound at this point. I'm still in veg, 24 hours of light. Please help.
ok so I'm just guessing based on the photos, but it looks like the roots are really brown, so I would think it's time to do the heisenburg tea thing or the calhypo thing (unless your nutes are super dark brown and stain everything).
also, it looks like the net basket is in the water (if that's the case, you'll need to lower the water lvls). afaik most ppl are recommending 1w+ per gal for air pumps.

If it was me I would pull them out and throw them in some promix, coco, or soil. You can try to fight rot in dwc if you want to, both the hies method and calhypo (or other form of chlorine) work, but if you don't get all the factors dialed in just right- water temp, lvl, air delivery, light leaks, nute solution (food for plants but not for slime- no sugar, urea...), dwc is pretty unforgiving imho.

I followed some advice and put them through the garbage disposal. I could see the writing on the wall. 2 shitty, stubborn clones were going to contaminate my entire grow. Totally not worth it. I've also bit the bullet and coughed up the dough to build the NFT tube that I should have built in the first place. DWC buckets are just too tedious for my space. I paid for my laziness. Please learn from my mistakes, folks. 1)Wait for good clones if you have to and.. 2) when you go cheap, you grow cheap.
