root watering

Hi all had a little gnat prob. got that under control, I have never had that before.
I did a root watering but I am unsure of how long to leave the water that they don't take up?

I assume you're referring to bottom feeding? Where you water the tray the pots sit in, correct?

If so, about an hour then empty the water out.

What size pots/containers and what medium are you using?

thanks man, yea bottom feeding 3 gal pots pro mix soil
