rooting gel on seeds and seedlings

something iv done a couple of times now
i dip my seed in clone rooting gel then just the good old shot glass trick for 18 to 24 hours then into in rockwool each time iv done this the seedling is fully out of the seed and getting its first leaves out with in 24 hours. on the 3rd day i cote the base of the stem in the rooting gel and again on day 7. i notice the stem swells at the bass and healthy roots start coming from the stem going in to the rockwool even in the light! im going to do a side by side one with the gel and one without to see if i dose any better

Don't use anything on the seeds i use a little superthrive in the water but only 1 ml per ltr of water.

when i do this i see slowed growth for a day maybe 2 but seems to take off quicker then before and the stem is about Double the size at the bottom and gettin bigger

I've got 5 seedlings just poking out of rockwool today 3 of them are equal in size,
I'm going to put a little gel on one and see what happens. You've got me interested.

yer i think it dose well after say 2 days my 1 1/2 " seedling has a 4 mm thick steam at the base and it looks like its been cut up the steam but its just swelling up hardcore.

try keep the gel as close to the base as you can and if you dont put to much it will slow growth for a day or two but not stop it. i use about the same amount of gel on my seedling as on about 2 or 3 clones...

Ur basically givin babies steroids? Sounds good. Not for me. But to eaches own. U should make a mini journal showing the growth rate. Id b interested to see leaves in 24hrz...

iv had first set of true leaves out in 24 hours or under, 3 times now i sweer its the roottin hormone cos the first two where with powder and this one is with gel

i should have pics up in the next day maybe two got to go get a cam so sorry no pics of seed seedling stage

the single site system shit its self and its takin me 3 days to get my 4 site up and running two 75L tubes now. so from start of day 12 till start of day 15 its light has been ner none but it didn't stretch :sad: or grow much at all but when i put it in the site its roots are like mass for the size of it there not long the rockwool cube had like a bush from about 1/4 way down the cube and it is like twice the size of the cube with 3 longer main roots about 3" longer than the lil bush of roots now that its in a better planed system not just a halfbaked bullshit system the roots should hopefullytake off and the growth :lol:
