Rooting hormones

Hello all friends,
Recently I heard about new rooting hormones. According to the website (www.ez-canshop) they claim superiority over other hormones. Before I buy, I wanted to ask whether anyone have tested those hormones?

Thanks

I don't know what that stuff is all about but you posted this in DIY so I'm gonna tell you my DIY rotting.liquid.
Take about a1/4 pound of willow tree bark and simmer in a half.gallon of water for 1.5 hours.

I then let this cool until Luke warm. And then I soak my pellets in this water.
I have also used this solution in.a bubble cloner with good results.
Its definitely possible to root clones without rooting hormone at all. Ive noticed that rooting solutions just tend to speed up the process by a couple days. Also ill usually get 10/10 rooted evry.time with a rooting solution and without its ussually 8 or 9/10.
Personally i prefer peat pellets and a dome when i clone. I grow in soil so im not sure how well theyd work for hydro setups besides a hempy maybe.

I get willow bark from the willow tree in my back yard...

I've heard of.people using honey as well. Never tried it myself though.

Dip n grow.
Good for up to 1000 cuttings...or so they say. I used it and it KILLED my old rooting record. 7 days and I up potted my cloner. I've used 4 other name brand gels.and nothing comes close to this dip n grow. Half the cost and get hundreds more cuttings out if it.

I use aloe from my aloe plant. Just cut off a spiny leaf & ooze that shit into a small dish or something to dip in. Not sure it makes much difference because I can get roots in about 6 days in my aerocloner even just using tap water.
I use the aloe after the roots are formed: Dip them in aloe & then sprinkle the tender young roots in mycorrizea which helps the root system take off quickly and grows super happy healthy plants once that myco bites.

Hey Richard,

So you don't Ph the water?

I have never been successful trying to clone without adjusting the Ph.

Never heard of people using aloe Vera as a rooting hormone.

Is it a specific form of Aloe Vera?

I have only ever seen the gel for when your sun burnt or the hand cream.

Just buy an aloe vera plant and snap a peice of it off and when you take your cutting, just dip it in the leaf of the aloe plant like you would cloning gel. Cheap and easy... free if you have it growing everywhere outside ;)

I want to try and put aloe water in a areocloner. I have always wondered how much better it would work...?

Nope tap water...straight. Changed out every 10 days & wiped clean of any slime with bleach and h2o2. Why ph water if there are no roots to uptake anything? You cannot possibly get nutrient lockout if there are no roots present.
Once there are roots I will do the aloe & myco thing & drop em into a weak soil mix. If I have to leave the clones in there for a few days I will put a few drops of rapid start in there which lowers the ph & has npk in low amounts so they won't starve waiting to be potted. I don't even bother to check it because any defs will be corrected by the soil once they hit it.

Aloe Vera straight from the plant, push the stem into the leaf slime, and you will have rooted clones with in 7/12 days.then continue to feed with a mix of aloe Vera and water till the clones root.even works well with seeds.
