Pictures are worth a thousand words.... What should I do?

Fill the whole Tray with Hydroton?, Grow Rocks? OR not worry about it?

LIGHT KILLS ROOTS, so is this Bad, or will the light only burn the exposed root, dry it out so it falls off then doesn't affect the plant or is this devastating?

First hydro run, day 5 of 12/12 cycle(3RD PIC). They were 8'' tall when i flipped them now on day 5 OF flowering they are 15-16'' tall. THATS DOUBLE THE SIZE IN 5 DAYS!!!! I LOVE HYDRO!!!! Indica Dom. strain too :weed:

dude, this happens every single time I use airpots with chiles, tomatoes, or cannabis, and I garden in soil.

It is the air that kills the roots faster than the lights for damn sure, and it just terminates the end of the root, and many rootlets form where the end terminated, that is the function of the airpots, this is definitely supposed to happen.

Thanks bro! The dude at my hydro store said that your roots will hit the side, stop then branch out laterally (making more feeder roots). BUT Im assuming that if 215 ppl looked at this one comment and didn't at all feel obligated to put their two sense in that it must just be that obvious and perhaps that was a really really dumb question...
