Roots in the res...what to do??

Hi all,

I am a converted outdoor grower that has gone indoor and added hydro to my knowledge. I am using GH hydrofarms and my strawberry cough's roots have grown into the res. Should I trim them? Add an airstone? feed them less? Any advise is appreciated.

if they are healthy - do nothing !

Adding an airstone is ALWAYS beneficial to your system, and will only bolster your growth and health ..

if they start growing into your pump cut them cause that happened to me and my pump died

This system is a drip to recovery system, no water pumps used, just air pumps.

I went ahead and put a 6 inch stone in each of my two rez's, ran the airline right down the rez level indicators, we will see how things work but they are now hybrid drip to DWC systems.

You want the roots to stay in water you need to check out roseman and the bubbleheads they will help

well if you aint got a water pump to easy air pump should be fine it won't die man just chuck some cannazyn or hydrozym in that will help and your done

I am using GH flora series nutes, can I still use cannazym?

yeah mate if you using a basic 2 part
nutrient get cannazym and also get canna Rhiztonic to if ya can avoid it roots love those 2 things mate
