its my 4 week from seed and i notice the roots started comming out the bottom of the rockwool how long can i keep it with out the pellets
with out any problems? i sterelize my system every week
i'm getting the pellets in about a week or 2 but it all depends on shipping

i'm using 6x6x6x cocotek rockwool drip cube i water every 3 hours for 1 minute straight i'm using 48 inchs flour. tubes 80w,temp is around 77,80f day/18h and about 70f night/6h. i'm using half solution nutes right now ph is around 5.5

Its your fourth week from planting the seed and the roots are just starting to pop out of the rockwool? Something is wrong. It shouldnt take that long. I had two plants in rockwool that i didnt put them in the medium fast enough after their root started poking through and they both died....coulda been from too many ppms in the water also....either way i know its not good for the plant.
 
With that 6-inch cube, you could grow the plant for several months under a shoplight. That big of a cube usually isn't put into rocks, unless it's a big system, and trying to grow a big plant.

Since you're using flouros, I kinda doubt you were trying for that.

the plant isn't going to die, the only problem theres going to be is algae growing around the cubes and onto the roots, but everything will be fine.
 
0o0ok i already orderd the pots and the pellets hopefully by the time it comes everything is going good thanks for the help!!!
