Roots that show -Flood and Drain System

Ok, So far no problems with the way my plants grow, but I'm having a growing concern about the roots showing up from under my mesh pots. Is it alright for them to be growing onto the tray? I hear no, but what do you do about it? These pictures
are from my Mango clone and was transplanted 3 weeks ago from soil. Humidity it low, air circulates really well, nutrients are a little off, but I'm resetting those today.

The roots will chase water if there is water available. If there isn't enough water to keep those growing tips alive, they'll just die off with no harm done to the plant. The VAST majority of your roots are contained in your container. The only potential problem with your root situation is algae or mold, from stagnant air, growing on your roots and working their way into the pots. If you have adequate air flow, that shouldn't be an issue. But right now, your roots look great and your plants look healthy. Just keep it up.

Not to hijack your thread, but if the roots have really spread into a bit of standing water would it be best to chop them if they start to brown at all?

It's perfectly fine if the roots grow into the tray. Just provide them with some more shade (I put more hydrotron rocks in my tray so the roots have a place to hide). I also cover the tray with foil and I'm starting week 5 of flower and my tray is 1/2 full of roots and my baby is getting huge!!

GL and keep it growing.

If the roots are dead, I'd chop them to avoid any complications that could result with any dead plant matter decaying in the system.
