Hey crwild thanks for stoping in. Yes the lights are within a 1". I think my problem is I just stuck a seed in one of my wifes dead plant pots thinking I'll just watch it for a while then pull it. then I found RIU and bought lights and moved it under them. So the soil was used and no drain holes in the pot, and
I bought a ph meter but don't think it works, so don't know about my ph.
Well i repoted it last night so that problem is fixed! I think i read that distilled
water has correct ph so I'm buying some tonight, second problem solved!
I'm hoping to see some rapid growth in the next week.
Also I bought buds for less grow book and it said that new leaves should be larger than the last. Well mine arn't I hope this changes.
Still waiting for my three seeds to sprout. Hopfully what I've learned will make a dif with these. I'm going to try and follow the book on these and veg them for about 16 days, but I don't know what strain my seeds are so it may take longer to get to right stage then flower all my plants. I hope my first one dosn't get to big before then! We will see.

Hi crazy thanks for stoping in! I'm am on 24hrs with my lights 4 23 wat cfls
I did start my plant in the window witch is why it stretched a bit in seedling stage. She is looking kind of bad I think my waters ph has been a problem so I bought a ph test kit and I'm getting used to matching color on the chart. So I hope to see improvement this week on my first plant.
I also had 3 seeds that sprouted this weekend! Yea! I hope I have learned enough to get these to grow Good! peace man

I beleive i have my ph problem under control, My oldest plant isn't looking any worse.Unfortunatly 1 of my seedlings bit the dust I think. Not looking good!
We will see what tomarrow brings!
Also I will try and get some new pics up tomarrow!

Yes Yes Yes I'm seeing new growth on my first plant and the yellowing and brown spots an the bottom leaves seams to have stoped! I'm so happy, finally got my ph going right. Of the 3 seedlings 2 are growing great, nice fat leaves. Tho there sister is dead I'll miss her.
I'll will try and get some new pics up tomarrow, now that I have some thing good to show off!
The best advise I can give any new grower is before planting any seeds get a ph test kit, the drops and color chart method works good enough for soil, or if you have the money a meter. Practice at it and get familar with it and you will have much better luck when you do plant your seeds.

My project this weekend is to Up date my grow room the box I am useing is getting to small. I'm debating on If I just use a bigger box or if I Buy some plywood and do it right. But just remembered I am going out with the girls Sat night so I may just have to use a bigger box!

Sunday was very busy, and I was a little hung over from sat. we where out for a friends B day! Saw a band Money Shot damn good time! Anyway I didn't cheak on my babys till this morning, and damn There is a lot of new growth!
The seedlings really shot up!
After I got my ph correct and started seeing lots of new growth I have been watering with only plain water. Thinking about a weak nut for my oldest plant!
I also have a light leak this morning! Must work on that tonight!

Yea my pics suck! I hope to get a new camara soon. But yea my girls are looking much better now I have my ph of my water right. This morning my seedlings are going crazy. They have grown so much in the last week it really shows me how stunted my first plant is for the what Ithink 9 weeks old.

I'm going away for the weekend leaving Fri so I have my work cut out for me I need to transplant the seedlings before I go so they don't dry out over 3 day weekend also I still have a lite leak around my door. I was looking for some weather strip and couldn't find what i was looking for so I mcgyvered some old blue jeans but not working out as good as I thought.
I may just go buy a shade for a window and put it on the inside of the door to block the light. Thanks again for stoping in Hustla catch you later

Hi Rope Smoker, i bought some black and white poly stuff (black on one side, white on the other) for my walls, and then used it for a nearby window as well, and it works awesome. Got it at a local gardening store, but home depot may have it as well. In addition to those 23w CFLs you have, maybe look into some 42w ones as well--i have some, and they're doing great.

Your plants are lookin good, though, even the first one is starting to perk up a bit! Good luck, i'll be watchin this grow.

Thanks for stoping Ganja Princess. Yes I'm happy my girls are doing better. I have been looking for some 42wat lites at Menards and Lowes and can't find any!
Where did you get yours? I think they will help especially when I go to flower the extra lumens out of the same space would have to help.
So if you could let me know where you got yours Ganja Princess or anybody else where do you get your 42wat cfls?

It will be a busy week hear we are getting ready to go to brother inlaws for the weekend. I got my 2 seedlings repotted last night, they are looking good this morning. I used some material to block my light leak last night. Much better, But I will buy a window shade next week to block it out all the way around. Also next week I will need to get some more light sockets and some 2600k cfls so I can start flowering my oldest plant, It's getting pretty big know that my ph is correct. I'm still watering with plain water no nutes yet, I may try some nutes on the oldest plant when we get back from weekend so I can keep an eye on it. Well here are the latest pics last night.

Ya the brother in law is cool we'll puff with him but mother in law can be a pain but it's cool we have come to a peace agrement. Any way easter is for the kids and us choclate loving parents!!!!!!!!
