the GIGROW is a nightmare and flimsy with a BS watering system. the rotogrow has got a problem with starting fires. both the BPOD and the Bonsai dont keep their round shape over time and none of these has UL / CSA stickers on them so if you have a fire there is no insurance that will cover anything that happens.

the only one worth spending your good money on and your time is the OMEGA GARDENS and their latest one is really the best one the VOLKSGARDEN. its a one light system that is the right size to go through a person doorway assembled and full of plants so if you ever have to bug out you can do it in minutes unlike any of the others and all the the OMEGA GARDEN units have CSA STICKERS ON THEM MEANING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TESTED AND APPROVED BY AN INSURANCE UNDERWRITER. Now maybe some of us dont care about that kind of things but i think it shows a commitment by the company that is missing from the others.

once you have the right strain in them these things will change your life, nothing can touch one for yield to watt ratio they are 5 to 10 time what you can do with the same wattage in a flat or tiered system

ha well im glad i didnt take your advice...

this is 150 plants around a 600 watt diggie and 400 watt magnetic ...the plant is sensi star...week 4..
lol keep updating with pics. I guess wasn't advice since I never used one, but I have heard many horror stories.

nute loaded water dripping down from the top of the rotation, inefficient light use, require room with tall ceiling. Does you has these problems?

is sensi star a sativa? I'm 2 lazy to look it up.

hey sorry for the snobby comment... just messing...well these doo take a little work to dial them but then its a growing powerhouse..,,, however this is a gi grow..soo its drip injection and run to waist.. no ebb and flow..you set your rez and its good for 8 days... i have not had any proplems with youre questions you asked... actual its takes up wayy let space them my last setup... 6.5 feet high is all you need to grow 240 plants in a 4.4 by 5.5 area..and for your question regarding ineffincient light use? ha.. to light up 240 plants i would need 2 to 3 times time light...theres no refector on these systems soo you ACTUAL gain almost 70% more usable light from every bulb..in flat gardens you cant grow above the bulb.... the light on the top of the bulb is just as bright as the bottom.. also as for the gram for watt... that goes to 2 to 3 grams a watt...good luck...and sensi star is a 100% indica..very strong medi strain...

Yeah I guess your right about the light efficiency. You may be in for a lot of trimming though eh? 240 plants in that tiny area! Throw us some pics when u can

In my experience trimming before crystals develop is key. Also if you use trim that contains very little THC your bubble hash will straight up suck. Mebe I'm just doin something wrong.

again...let me know how that turns out for u.

That is a difficult and broad question that I'm still experimenting with.

Mainly it will depend on what you are trying to achieve and with what system.

I assume you will lolipop these plants in order to fully maximize your tight space. Since you are running drippers I would suggest a small trim session while still in veg. You may feel that more trimming is necessary after flowering. Make sure to do this no more than 2 weeks into 12-12.

Yourname i think you're missing a zero, 150 plants around 1000watts, if he only harvests 10 grams a plant, he'll have 50 oz.

Natural you'll have your work cut out for you at harvest time! Do you want a hand? LOL

Just thought i send you guys some rare pics of Roto grows in action....bet you havent seen these befor..these units doo 360 plants...7 to 10 lbs a wheel

Are those yours? The pictures are dated 2006.. so if they are yours and now it's 2008 can you tell us how the rotational units have held up over the years. Any problems? I ask because rotational gardens are expensive so I think we are all curious to hear how they hold up over time.

Beautiful plants :D
