Rough first fun grow

Hello fellow newbs and newb teachers! Not the fist time I've done this but first time for cfl, foxfarm, and information to come into contact with my brain... Anywho I have a random plant from bagseed that I noticed was female out of about ten lmao. And I have put her through some shit . But to my surprise she is curled at about seven or eight inches flowering from three colas top being the only real growth. One 55 watt 2700 inch or less away 12 12. Using all purpose MG........ I know ... I have tiger bloom and big grow stored mixed in gallons with one for each. Two tea spoons to a gallon. Haven't tried the big grow as I bought both during flowering. Messed with some tiger bloom and noticed very small burns not too bad. Um.. Pics ? [/IMG]

The small burn I was talkin about. Notice only top of plant growing big so one 55 watt cfl ... Any good?

That plant is stretching quite a bit, you need some more bulbs Bro, I have 12 23 watt 6500k cfl's for 4 plants which still isnt realy enough but will work

I run 2 42w 6500ks for veg . And I wont grow mine over 18 in that room. I use 3-4 23w 2700k bulbs per plant in the next room, grab a 2 dollar 2-way socket. And get another bulb. That would make ur plant real happy. Nice looking little plant though. Try writing down ur day to day operations u know all ur nutes water amounts, leaf and stem activity etc. Helps in big way for future growing.

You need more light most definitely. It also looks like you are using tin foil. That is a big no no. It only has something like 55% reflection(not sure if that is the exact amount) and can cause heat spots on plants if you have more lights. Go to walmart and buy some emergency blankets for 2-3 dollars. They are made of thin sheets of mylar. They will give much more reflectivity and they won't cause heat spots.

thats because your plant wants the light it should be no more than 4inches away from plant. CFL's dont penetrate the plants like hps do. So keep the bulb close and it also looks like you need a bigger bulb. I recommend a 400watt CFL bulb. Only $25 on amazon and cost about $5 a month to run.
