Hello all

I am having some hardcore seedling problem.... i would just ditch em and start over but these are my last 2 and really special to me... lol

Well... they were doing good until 1 day i went to work and their humidity dome wasnt sealed right and they dried out... i touched one leaf and it cracked in half and fell off basically, now the other leafing is drooping down to stem pretty bad but it looks green still and looks like the new growth MIGHT come in... i just dont know what to do with it... keep in humidity dome or introduce to light?

one plant still looks green and like it might survive, i really hope so... and the other is brown and most likely one to die

so please... help with advice... first time i had this issue as you can see from other pic... things usually do well

thanks and please help:-(

seedlings are currently in sealed humidity dome and sitting in side lighting/minimal light on a heating pad around 85*F

I would introduce them to light. The photosynth done by the cotyledons might just save their lives. I had the same problem in a red solo cup like your last picture. I put a ziplock baggie (ghetto humidity dome) over the plant and stuck it under a 42 watt cfl and now she's looking great! Best of luck!

thanks, i use small plastic tupperware with ceran wrap over my seedlings, introducting fresh air to them every few hours

i am going to try and stick them under the LEDs and hopefully, like you said, the light might help save them

they currently get some light, just not good light i guess

the brown one is dead for sure...

other one has a real soft/soggy stem up top... so i think that one will be dying soon also... how sad

any tips on trying to save it? soggy stems usually spell out death?
