Round 2 Bagseed This Time

So here's the deal,all of the time I grow with real,quality genetics from seedbanks since I like to kno what I'm getting but for this grow I have been really,and I mean really strapped for cash,so bad that I couldn't come up with even $50 to buy 5 feminized seeds and things aren't lookin any brighter in the future so iv had to settle for bagseed and I'm talkin bout that mexi brick kindBut before everybody starts goin crazy on me listen to this it isn't that shit brown 1/2 seeds and stems shit the growers I guess have been getting smart and caring about consumer a lil more cuz it's brick that's green few seeds maybe 10 to a quarter ounce bag and its been rehydrated and turned back to bud(fluff) and it's got visible trichromes on it,but still has that swag mexi smell.but enough about all of that I'm gana run a 20 plant aeroponic system with 2 400w HID lamps with all of these swag plants iv already got them started there just babies now I'll post pics when they get bigger and there is actually something to post so now with that I say comments?questions?concerns? And if anyone has experience growin mexi bag seeds give me a holler

I have to admit that im using some bagseed in my grow. The bagseeds are 2 weeks old and the designer strains are about 1 week. Those freaking bagseeds are growing like some champs m8. Im sure you will get some good stuff. Now im a super noob but I know a good growing plant when I see one. Peace to you my friend. +rep

update:well my computer is down so I can't post pictures but I can say they are all doing well!!! I have 4 that I started a week earlier than the others and they are on they're 6th nodes all the others are on they're 2nd and 3rd. I can definately say they are all indica hybrids cuz they got a lil saliva in them but mostly indica. I had some heat issues early on, I was using a 400w mh and a couple of the days the temps soared into the low 100's(I kno that sounds crazy from one 400w but I live in new Mexico were it is very hot all the time) so since I have switched to a couple of 40w tube flouros and the temps since top out at 88 and get down to 78 at night but since then they have all been thrivingunfortunately when I had that hot spell my most vigourous plant died,luckily it was the only one

Keep up the posts dude, just found your thread. Personally I am new at growing but was thinking about doing this exact same thing. I just ordered some Hindu Kush via attitude, but I was going to toss some brick bag seeds in the grow just to see what happens with them. I mean the only thing to me that makes this weed really bad is that it's been exposed to air for a long time, and the packing methods that have been used to get it to whoever it goes to. Before that it probably was some decent shit.

I am rambling lol smoked a laaaaaal bit and that's what I do! Anyway keep up the post would love to see some pics.

thanks pravius all my plants are doing excellent they're all at least 6-9 inches tall I can't post pics I have them I just don't have a computer to upload them,I think I should get some decent mids out of it the weed they came from wasn't that bad honestly I only saved from the best bags like green stuff with few seeds that had been compressed

Good luck on your grow! I'm somewhat in the same situation but luckily the seeds I have are from a local outdoor strain of Norther Lights, the few friends who I have that grow are all stingy with there current strains and won't chop any clones for me so I'm starting seed soon until I can order up some premo beans myself. Also it's totally possible to turn brick bagseed into classy buds if there grown right indoors.

ya my dealer is going to save seeds out of his bags and sell them to me $1 a seed and these are good chronic buds sometimes it's even medical since my dealers got the hook up

So how much do you yeild from your aero system on average?

well it really depends on the strain but if u look at some of my pictures from past threads my last go was jock horror from nirvana and they only had a one month veg time and ended up with 7+ft plants that grew into my roof but due to me not being prepared for that big of plants so let's say the bottom 2/3 of the plants were unsmokeable so went to hash I only had 2 400w lights for those monsters but I ended up harvesting 14 oz of pure primo cola bud it was great,as far as the system with my current grow it has the fastest grown iv seen anywere iv got 2 week old plants that are on they're 6 and 7th node and growin branches

the way i see it, the worlds next best weed might come from a bagseed.
stranger things have happened. i collect and catagorize random seeds from wherever i can. i generally segregate the seeds from one bag from those of another. i sprout out unkown seeds and just track them numerically in the grow, always keep a clone in veg before i flower to determine sex and i always sample the final product with my conniseur discretion. i look for traits that i deem beneficial and keep that strain alive or either cross it with something else.

i want to expand the gene pool by crossing anything and everything. ill cross bagseed with clones from known strains. Right now i got some seeds from a bubble berry skunk that was pollinated in an outdoor grow. I also cross bagseed with other bagseed; give me a few years and i'll have the bagseed cross, and it might be the dopest ganja the world has ever known- or not- either way it is my strain and i'll know what i got invested in it so i will love it and continue to perfect it.

watch for unstable genetics with bagseed especially and watch out for extreme conditions in the growth environment as this can be detrimental to bagseed and induce the plant to go hermie. one thing about bagseed is there are hermie traits in some of it, watch your girls for banannas!

might consider trying to keep a mother and clones also to avoid your dilema with no cash and no seed.

ya I'm just gana wait till I can order seeds to get a mother for clones,and the only extreme thing in my environment is high temps usually it's from 87-95

my thoughts exactly, but don't limit yourself. you will be missing out on alot of high quality medicine if you only grow bagseeds.
