Round 2

Decided that I am going to give them 4 hours of darkness for the next week or so and let the roots develop a little bit. I’m hoping that this will help with my end yield. If they 3x during stretch then 5x8 of my room will be full, which is what i want

No real updates to speak of, just waiting on her to get her legs stretched out in the pots before I flip. Introduced darkness so it’s a waiting game. Pic to show progress. The sundae driver is way behind but I’m just growing that for myself. The rest is for patients.

If anyone sees anything or has an input I’d love to discuss. I started this journal to create interaction and dialogue with the community as I’m new here

What wattage is your HPS?

How far above the canopy is it?

Average temps and humidity?

You're doing fine by the way. I just prefer 18'6 or something close to it, over 24/0.

I think it depends on your light intensity and how much light your plants want at the time. If my veg lights are on 18/6 and I notice my plants going to sleep (droopy leaves) an hour before lights out every day, that tells me I can go to 17/7. I just reset the timer to 16/8 yesterday.

I like to listen to my gut a lot which leads me to do a lot of things some growers frown upon. I have a big gut so it has a lot to say. :wall:

I dropped to 20/4 and they’re responding well. I’m just testing the waters to let roots develop and hopefully I’ll end up with some success. I will more than likely go to 18/6 in a week or so for 2 weeks to see how they’re reading. With some luck, the roots will fill a lot of the space and when I flip I’m hoping they just explode and leave me with plenty to manage

I decided yesterday to go ahead and flower these. Impatience could cost me but I want to see what these do during stretch so I know on future rounds. Gonna clip a few clones as well to reveg as they go hoping that helps to improve numbers next round.

Had an uh oh moment today. Set timer for the 2nd 1000w but accidentally set to be on when it should have been off. Hoping it doesn’t cause too big of an issue.
Getting my veg table going for the next round which will be tombstone from greenpoint seeds in soil and White widow X big bud in bubble buckets (currently in hempy)

Update on the girls in flower.

I super cropped em tonight to get more penetration through the canopy and hopefully they’ll heal up fast and create some amazing buds.

End of the weekend update: just chugging along still. Have my tombstones going along with some clones and a few others. Plan on filling in the blanks in a few weeks to get a chop every 4 weeks if possible.

starting to flower so I’m happy about that! In a few months I’ll have my first legal crop and I can’t wait!
