hey!
first of all id like to thank everyone on this site. Ive spent days and days on it, going through the forum, theres so much awesome info here! hats off to your passion and dedication
This is my first grow. I invested some money in the setup and got a homebox S 80x80x160cm, got a 400W hps light and use my floor fan for ventilation. I got plagron's grow mix soil in 6 liter pots and 6 clones, 3 bushman (sativa dom.) and 3 sensi stars (indica dom.). For nutes i bought the bionova's bioroots, bn-zym, soil supermix and pk 13/14 for bloom
Its been 2 weeks since I got the clones, and I think they are growing nicely. A few problems here and there...
So I got the clones in rockwool and planted them in soil pots. First week I watered them with just the bioroots, so the root system would develop. dosages of all nutes i've written below. I always used less then what it says on the bottles to make sure i dont over do it. I water twice/thrice a week.
Second week, which has just ended, I used the soilmix NPK 524 with some b-nzym when i started to notice a little discoloration on the leaves and some burn on one of the leaf's edges.
They are pretty big now put a smile on my face whenever i see them.
Today I start my bloom cycle. My 18/6 cycle was from 7am to 1am and i've adjusted it today to make it 12/12 7am to 7pm.
dosage:
bioroots: on the bottle it says 5 ml/litre, i gave 3 ml/l
soil supermix: on the bottle 5 ml / litre, i gave 3.5 ml/l
bnzym 3ml/l, i gave 1.5 ml
The soil I use has a ph of 5.5-6.5, EC: 1.4 and 1.6 and NPK is 12/14/24
Some questions:
1) Do they look good and healthy overall?
2) They are now a little over a foot. My box is 5'2 feet in height. I hope they dont out grow it..
3) Im thinking ill give them fresh water in their next feed and then switch to bionova pk13/14
Wont i still need some N? should I mix the soil supermix 524 and pk 13/14 (in low dosages), this way they get some N too. But might be overloading the p and k.
4) I dont have a ph tester for soil or water, some curling on the leaves and color problems can still be seen in the pictures. Is it totally necessary to get a ph test? Or is this much deformity still ok? its only on a few leaves.
Thanks!
