haha i almost never win either. do you guys have any idea how many prizes probably get thrown away in the trash? i used to work for tim's and if the cups fall on the floor, they go in the trash...thats it. lol. so if you accidentally drop a whole sleeve of cups on the floor without the plastic wrapping on them...they ALL go in the garbage. i do think that they have to check each cup thats gonna get thrown out..but still lol. and i remember a guy i knew in high school was working there...he stole a whole sleeve of XL cups and one of those had $1000 bucks haha.

oh, and to people who may not know...we're talking about tim hortons roll up the rim to win promotion..they do it this time of year every year :)

i know someone who won a bike a few years ago...not a huge prize, but better than a donut! :D

im still lost
lol they're talking about the company Tim Horton's. its a coffee chain in canada...the biggest coffee chain. it put a lot of other coffee stores right out of business. canadians lose their shit in the morning without their timmies lol. they have coffee, donuts, soups/sandwiches, breakfast food, etc. and if you wanna know how much people like their timmies...krispy kreme opened a store in my city a few years ago. it was really busy for the first little while, i guess while people were trying them out..but it ended up closing because they didnt have very good business. people preferred tim hortons donuts over krispy kreme. ;-)

i think that there might be some timmies locations in the US, but my guess would be that they're closer to the canadian border...

as for the "roll up the rim to win" part...every year tim hortons does a promotion where you buy a coffee and under the rim of the coffee there might be a prize. so after you're done, you roll up the rim of the cup to see if you won anything. they give away a lot of free coffees and donuts and stuff like that...then the prizes get bigger. some years they've had ipods, flat screen tvs, bikes, camping equipment, and usually the big prizes are cars...they have around 30 that they usually give away across the country.
