Rubbermaid CFL Buddha's Sister Scrimshaw grow.

So, my internet was down yesterday. Just catching up on the posts, I estimate this to be about day 11-12 since they popped.

Anyway! Lot's of photos this time! I ended up spending a long hard time looking at my box. No, not like that.

Deciding that one rubbermaid was just two short I did the most logical thing. I taped another on top and cut the bottom out with an exact-o knife. Ditto with the top of the other. Effectively doubling the height of my grow box as well as introducing a passive airflow that keeps the temp at a nice 23-25 degrees.

The plants have been doing phenomenal (I think) Aside from a few minor burns and cosmetic mutations I believe caused by the seed casing coming off too early they are growing like weeds. No captions this time, I'll let the pics talk.

Woo, updaates!

So my plants are at roughly day 17-21 if I have it correct. They've got multiple nodes, some nice fan leaves and are starting to get a tad smelly. Going to switch them to 12/12 soon!

I built a new box, went to home depot and got some wood panels, some duct tape and screws later and I've got a lightproof beaut.

Love how thick my stems are getting, these beauties are doing me proud!

Didn't even realise people were paying attention!

Here we go, switched to 12/12 and two have shown sex, one male and one female! I tossed the male as I have quite a few of my buddha's seeds left.

Anyway! here are the photos, some slight burning due to intense growth during my shifts at work.

Of course we are paying attention. I could be subbed to any number of threads but for some reason I have found your thread interesting. You must be doing something right because those plants look healthy.:-P

Thanks guys :) I haven't done anything extreme, it's my first grow so i guess the thing I'm doing right is exercising caution with nutes and the like :p One thing I did add recently was a yeast bottle to increase the Co2 and I think that accounts for some of the colour.

I am on my first grow too and am thinking about trying the Co2 as well...you're doing really well with the nutes, most first time growers over-do it! Nice to see you've done your research :)

Just a few photos of the pretty white hairs, they're both female and both doing excellent :) LST worked great for me, I'll get some photos of the stems wrapping around the pots.

It's been one week since I switched them over went straight to twelve/twelve, two showed preflowers after only two days and on the third I spotted the male and white hairs on one of the other plants.

Chucked the male, waited and the other showed sex the next day :D

More photos, can't help it ;).

The coke bottle is just my Co2 rig, works like a treat, have a big ol CFL for the seedling and to give light to the lower areas of the two plants. Beautiful white hairs forming, makes me happy :D

Well, decided to show some photos of the actual size of my babies, the box doesn't do it justice. First off are a few shots of the budsites and then onto the full greenery, it appears I have two different phenotype's which should be interesting, I haven't had any trouble telling the difference between the two since they were about two weeks old, but I plan on taking clones from both and labeling them carefully, so after I have a go at the bud itself I can decide which I'd like to have continuing down the line.

Anyway, here are the photos!
