CFLs > LEDs at the moment. Maybe in another few years once the technology is more developed and cheaper, but not now.

one thing i have learned in my grow that started in a rubbermaid is to do space planning beforehand. my big plant outgrew the rubbermaid tub a long time ago, luckily i can just put it in a closet. but if you are trying to stick to your tub just think about veg time and what kind of strain you have (sativas will get bigger much than indicas in my experience). good luck!

ya im planning on using sum lowryder seeds... i jus cant find them from canada... ill post sum pics once the low ryder gets goin

so im two weeks in sorry its taken so long.... the seeds were a bit hard to get ahold of ... but i went with the dwarf lowryder mix autoflower ill post sum pics.... the plants look pretty good i think ... a pair of the first leaves that grew out r now dying im thinkn its norml but i could use another opinion..

any other advice is helpfull..

im addn two more pc fans so i can add more lights ... right now im using to 24w cfls warm white

awesome. have you done a trial run with the extra lights inside? whats the temp get to then?

will you dry inside the tub as well?

dont worry about the first set of leaves dying... trim them off once they are completely dead.

whats your soil situation? any nutes?

ya i added two more 24 watt cfls and the temp got to like 79 to 81 so ima hold off till i get the fans

im runnin a 20 to 4 light sched.

i got a stack off folded paper towels underneath the pots for now

im using mircle grow potting mix...

i havent added anything to it yet..

i have the peters profesional super bloom stuff... so ill prolly add a bit of that once they go into flowering in about a week or so...but idk the soil says it has nutes in it..so i dont want to burn it by adding to much... wat u think./?

i jus put two more seeds into germ...
i doing a two plant two week continous harvest ... the plants r already starting to smell ... where did u get those autospray things at and how much were they?

Hey, lookin' good so far! My recommendation would be to get that power strip out of the box. If you can wire your lights independently it should take the heat down a little bit. I'd also suggest getting yourself a 120mm PC case fan instead of the two 80s. I'm not sure how loud those are but I picked up a single 120 on newegg that is extremely quiet but moves a lot of air. It completely took care of my noise and temperature issues.

Its day 36 for me and none of my plants can be much tallter than 1.5ft. About 75% of those have 4-5 bud sites already. Having never done this before I can tell you with 100% assurance that if you keep on reading and baby those plants you'll do well

I may not be finished yet, but two rubbermaid tubs and some TLC go a long way!

so ya day 21

one of my plants turned out to be male so i had to murder it...luckly it was the smaller on

I planted two more seeds on feb 1st so their bout a week old hopefully both will be female

i had a question it seems the first set of leafs on the big female r dying should i cutem off or wat... theirs a picture of the dead leafs below

i also added 4 more cfls and two 120 mm fans... the temp is hangn round 75 max and 70 low... 65 degrees in the dark

the big female should start flowering cycle tonight i can spot about 8 or so bud sites so im excited

feel free so leave questions or advice

so i awoke this morning to find my big females leaves were druping a bit..... it still looks pretty healthy... i was thinkn maybe when plants go into flowering the leafs change a bit...because its an autoflower im haveing trouble figuring it out...it jus started its third week of growth and thats when there supposed to start flowering.....il post sum pics later today.... but can sumone help me out im totally stressn over this..

ok so day 26 the female is lookn good...

but i cant seem to figure out wats goin on with it.... the lower to mid leaves r geting brown spots on them and turning yellow a bit... does anybody know wat this is help me..? :?:

the two seedlings r doing well

i got bout 12 or so bud sites that r really starting to develop they smell reall nice

ya ya they should be getn plenty of light they stick out pretty off the plant

my guess is nutes need to be added im starting those this morning hopefully that fixes the problem ill post sum pics in a couple of days....

the female still has a month in the oven still so that should b e plenty of time to recover... :bigjoint:
