Runt worth keeping ?

at this size you might not want to water everyday your light is probably only 100 true watts. In three weeks plants should be around 10-12 inches. Still they are far from dead and it looks like a better first grow than most people. what are your temps? cold temps slows the growth rate alot

3 weeds from seed or three weeks into veg? I’ve never seen a 2 1/2 week old seedling at 12 inches. Maybe that’s just me. This my first but I’ve seen plenty of grows. But my temps are on the warmer side . Right now it’s 75 degrees and 78% rh. That sounds pretty idea for seedlings no? I have a light meter like I was telling the guy above I should probably lower the light seeing how it’s not as strong as they say it is. It would equal out to about 850 watts. Not the 1000 they said but yeah. Any suggestions feel free I’m all ears. I lowered the light a few inches and I’ll see if anything huge happens in the next few days.

Also they’re drinking the water just fine. By the next watering it’s barely moist to my first knuckle and getting on the lighter side so definitely not water issue. Got the ph down. That’s around 5.8-6.3 stays in that range . Could starting in the 1 gallons be a reason why? I never started in a smaller container. I put the straight into the one gallons since they popped from the pellets

my first grow i had 6 plants started, with one of them way behind the others, scraggly, strange leaves, etc. id always crop it out of pics.
at flip time there wasn’t much room in the tent, so i stuck the runt in a window. i almost tossed it altogether. then 4 of the remaining 5 turned out male. i ended up sticking the runt back in the tent and it threw pistils.
that fugly plant’s bud was far superior. i was so glad i kept it around.

I kept a runt, turned out to be one of the best of the crop!
Was going to pull it as a seedling, was all wrinkled and deformed, but gf said it might grow out of it, so i said ok.
Sooo glad I listened lol

Some struggles make a person a better person, one can say the same about plants.my moto is you never know til you try, if you don't try and see it for yourself , you'll never really know!
Way I look at it , can always cull it later, just might surprise you in the end!

I had a runt that was way behind in veg but after the stretch in flower it's now bigger than most of the others.

I would keep it even if it only gives a Q off of it. If you got enough room defiantly go for it. It's better then chucking it.

I join the consensus. The freaks have always, or almost always, amazed me when done. Possible potency and unique traits negate quantity in my book. I start way more seeds than I can actually house. Give the extras away looking for freaks. The birds pulled my last 99 BK runt as It was becoming a "Mighty Stocky Midget. Saddened me more than culling beautiful Bodhi males at 4-5'. Run them out. Just to learn. Might blow your world when done. There is a real runt in the cell with the stick. It's the single in next photo with same age starts. Last pic is a runt pre 98 from same batch. You never know. Happy growing.

Currently on the shitter replying. It’s a bloomspect 1000w. Actual wattage closer to 850. Not 1000 by any means but replaces a 400w Mh. Is big bud the strain or the nutrient big bud?

this light is rated at true 182 watts i would personally place it at like 12-18 inches from the top of my plants

Should I use the veg and bloom switch at the same time ? Do you know about LEDs at all?
